1999 Baron Herzog Cabernet Sauvignon

This is the star of the Kosher wine collection and can be confidently served to the most discerning of wine drinkers. Bright, crimson brick red colour. Medium body. Superb, lifted nose, quite perfumed, with aroma of spice and cedar, very distinct blackcurrant, followed by a subtle truffle end note. The palate is tightly structured, Bordeaux like in its inspiration. The blackcurrant, cedar and spice flavours form a strong backbone to the flavour profile. Fine grained, dry, but perfectly balanced tannins. Excellent length and finesse. Very long aftertaste of spice, blackcurrant and cedar.
