1998 Yarra Yering Pinot Noir

No whole bunch go in the crush, all lightly crushed and some stems go back in(how many depends on the vintage). This is a clean, stable wine with good aciditymaking it a terrific food wine.Pale bright ruby red colour. Intense sweet strawberry fruit on the nose with spicy and almost gamy notes. The fruit concentration is tremendous literally coating the palate. Lovely complex wine with fine-grained tannins/ texture consistent with good Pinot Noir/Burgundy. Very long finish. 14.5% alcohol volume.
