A Cabernet, that is showing early bottle development. Medium weight brick colour, with aroma of stewed fruits, plum, earth, spice and confectionery over a cedar and blackcurrant background. The palate shows an elegance of style that has become the hallmark Yarra Valley Cabernet. The wine has flavour without the voluptuous palate weight that is evident in Barossa Cabernets. Fine grained, soft tannins, followed by very long aftertaste of stewed fruits, leather and mint. Cellar 2- 3 years.
