1998 Yalumba Botrytis Viognier (375ml)

Brilliant brassy gold colour. The nose is very interesting in that it displays some of the 'super ripe fruit on the turn' characteristic that is often found in the drier style of the variety. According to Yalumba, this is the first botrytis affected Viognier to be made in Australia. Following the super ripe fruit aromas are notes of lemon blossom, lychee and stewed fruit. Soft acid finish. Cellar 2-3 years. 375ml bottle.
