Grape Varieties: Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Cabernet.
Region: It is produced in the area of San Gimignano in the province of Siena, located in central Italy, in the region of Tuscany.
Characteristics: Purplish ruby in colour and releases notes of rich fruit on the nose, with a hint of tobacco and leather rounded off by sweet vanilla. The softness on the palate leads into good concentration and smooth tannins on the mid-palate, followed by a mouth-filling finish.
Serve: Room temperature and open at least an hour prior to serving.
Try it with: Game dishes and Parmigiano.
