1998 Turramurra Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine is just off its peak, and should be consumed. Deep brick red colour, with tawny red hue showing signs of maturity. The nose displays tertiary developed aroma of leather, earth, truffle, with a hint of leaf. On the palate the earth, leather flavours dominate, leaving some stewed fruit character in the background. Dryish tannins, followed by a vegetal, leather and earth aftertaste.
