1998 Trevor Jones Cabernet Merlot

Opaque crimson brick red colour. The nose is impressive with lifted notes of ripe blackcurrant, followed by notes of cedar, spice and liquorice. The palate shows very good length and concentration with flavours of ripe blackcurrant, spice and cedar evident, followed by a hint of tea leaf on the back palate. Very long aftertaste of blackcurrant, spice, tobacco and cedar.
