A well made Watervale red, worthy of 3-4 years cellaring Deep crimson colour with mauve edges. Restrained nose of blackcurrant and spice, followed by a touch of liquorice and toasted oak. Straightforward palate flavours with blackpepper flavours emerging on the back palate. Fine grained soft tannins followed by liquorice plum aftertaste.
