1998 Tim Gramp McLaren Vale Shiraz

Outstanding colour. Opaque vibrant, purple mauve colour, very youthful. Aroma of blackberries and spice with hints of earth as the end note. On the palate plum, fruit and vanillin oak flavours are dominant. In spite of the excellent colour, the flavours profile is relatively simple with the palate length fading. Fine grained tannins, followed by an aftertaste of blackcurrant spice and vanillan oak. Cellar 3-4 years.
