An excellent full bodied red, without any sign of being porty. Made from equal portions of the three grape varieties. The wine displays deep crimson colour. Aroma of leather, earth and tar, with the Merlot tending to dominate. Generous ripe fruit flavour on the palate. Mixed ripe berries, earth, truffle plum and very ripe stewed fruit flavours are supported by fine, firmish, yet dry tannins. Excellent balance with long aftertaste of confectionery, spice, raspberry and blackberry. Cellar 3-4 years.
