1998 Rothbury Estate Chardonnay

What a bargain! This wine epitomises the viticultural and technical excellence that the Australian Wine Industry has achieved. Brilliant straw colour. Aroma of peach, spice, tropical fruits and melon. The palate is mouthfilling and totally fruit driven with generous flavours of ripe peach and melon over a spicy background. Excellent length and persistence. Perfect balance followed by a very long spicy melon and peach aftertaste. The wine was awarded a Gold Medal in Class 2 in Adelaide.
