This is an impressive example of Hunter Semillon. Matured from 30 year old vines grown in the Roxburgh and Giants Creek Vineyards. Bright straw colour. Subtle aroma of toast and green tea, followed by a hint of cut grass over a delicate herbaceous background. The palate has weight and is beginning to fill out, but will still need more time to reach its peak. Flavours of citrus and toast emerge over a green tea background. Moderate length. Clean acid finish, with aftertaste of citrus, green tea and spice.
