1998 Reynolds Yarraman Shiraz

This is a wine for admirers of Classic Hunter River Reds. Medium body crimson colour with mauve edges. The nose displays an earthy, leather Rhone like aroma, reminiscent of Great Hunter reds in days gone by. On the palate the flavour of ripe plum, earth and leather are interwoven and are followed by a strong gamey earth end flavour. Mouthfilling. Fine grained dry tannins are in perfect balance with the fruit and are followed by long earthy, spice and plum aftertaste. Cellar 5-8 years.
