The 1998 Stock’s Hill Shiraz, celebrates 100 years of winemaking at Pirramimma.Deep crimson, black colour with brick red edges. Aroma of ripe, stewed fruits, plum, vanilla, spice, cinnamon and liquorice allsorts. On the palate the flavours of liquorice and vanilla are dominant followed by tar, spice and ripe plums. Fine grained, very firm, dry tannins, followed by very long liquorice, leather, vanilla, mint and confectionary aftertaste. Cellar 4-5 years.
