1998 Pikes Shiraz Grenache Mourvedre

A blend of 40% Shiraz, 40% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre, which has spent 18 months in French oak. Medium body, brick red colour. The nose displays spicy raspberry and blackberry aromas with just a hint of liquorice. The palate flavours are simple and relatively light with leather, raspberry and spice emerging. Fine grained dry tannins. Cellar 3-5 years.
