1998 Peter Lehmann Mentor

This wine is made from a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Shiraz and 15% Malbec. Very deep crimson, brick red colour, with crimson brick red hue. The nose has a whiff of tea leaf, but it is acceptable, followed by notes of cedar, spice, tea leaf, blackcurrant, chocolate and mocca. On the palate, flavours of stewed fruit, plum and spice with a hint of mocca and liquorice. Moderate length. Fine grained tannin structure, followed by a tea leaf mocca aftertaste.
