1998 Penfolds Koonunga Hill Chardonnay

A well made easy drinking style. Bright pale straw colour. The nose is appealing with its clearly defined oak matured aromas. Spicy cinnamon, vanillan oak, tropical fruit with a touch of citrus and butterscotch as end notes. Mouthfilling, although a little heavy on oak, but well supported by peach and tropical fruits. Good length with vanilla, cinnamon, spice aftertaste and soft acid finish. Cellar 2-3 years.
