1998 Orlando St Hilary Chardonnay

A well made barrel fermented Chardonnay with top gold at Cowra as well as being awarded the Eurimbla trophy. Bright deep straw colour. The nose is filled with the aroma of vanillan oak, cinnamon and butterscotch followed by a citrus end note. Peach vanilla palate flavours, with butterscotch re emerging. Plenty of ripe fruit flavours and generous mouthfeel. Soft acid finish, followed by peach, spice aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
