A big North East Victorian red. Very deep, crimson mauve colour. Aroma of toasted oak, spice, blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate. Generous palate weight and flavour, full bodied with liquorice and liquorice allsorts over spice, blackpepper and ripe plums. Fine grained tannins, followed by a very spicy, blackpepper aftertaste. Cellar 3-4 years.
