1998 Mitchell Peppertree Vineyard Shiraz

Andrew and Jane Mitchell have been producing excellent wine from their vineyard for many years. The Peppertree Shiraz is one of their flagship wines. Deep crimson mauve colour. Peppery, toasted oak, inky spice nose with earth and leather end notes. A wine made with distinct Rhone influence. Mouthfilling, tarry, liquorice, toasted oak and plum palate flavours. Fine grained soft tannins, followed by earthy, leather and plum aftertaste. Cellar 4-5 years.
