1998 Milburn Park Chardonnay

This wine has been awarded two gold medals and one trophy. It is a big Chardonnay, filled with ripe fruit and generous oak and will no doubt please the devotees of the old Renmano Chairman Selection Chardonnay's. Bright, brassy gold colour. Lifted butterscotch, biscuit, yeast lees and vanilla nose. There is no mistaking that this wine has been barrel fermented. Mouthfilling spicy, vanilla, cinnamon, spice and melon palate flavours, followed by a background of peach, tropical fruit and spice. Creamy, buttery texture followed by a long cinnamon, spice aftertaste. Cellar 1-2 years.
