Bernoota is the Aboriginal word for a 'camp among the gum trees.' Made from a blend of 60% Shiraz and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. Opaque, crimson purple mauve colour. Aroma of ripe blackcurrants, plum, liquorice and spice. Excellent palate weight with strong flavours of spice, blackberry, plum, cedar and liquorice. Excellent length and depth, fine grained tannins with ripe plum, spice and liquorice flavour persisting. An impressive red. Cellar 4-5 years.
