1998 Kingston Estate Zinfandel

A youthful, firm wine that offers wine lovers an affordable Zinfandel experience. Deep crimson purple colour. On the nose the youthfulness is very apparent with a distinct spicy ink aroma which overrides the smoky, pepper and vanilla background notes. On the palate ink and stewed fruit flavours are supported by very firm lingering tannins and inky medicinal aftertaste. Firm dry lingering tannins. Cellar 2-3 years.
