1998 Hamilton Noble Semillon Sauvignon Blanc (375ml)

Delightful presentation in a tall clear glass bottle, very trendy looking bottle. The wine as it turns out does not live up to the presentation, this is only a commercial sticky.Brilliant straw colour. The nose is restrained with delicate aromas of citrus, honey and apricot and only a hint of botrytis. The mouthfeel is quite luscious, but there is neither depth or complexity of flavour, just a simple layer of honey and citrus. Clean finish with sufficient acidity for the short term. Cellar 3-4 years.
