1998 Geoff Hardy Kuitpo Shiraz

Geoff Hardy’s Pertaringa Cabernet Sauvignon is an impressive example of McLaren Vale Cabernet, but under the Geoff Hardy label the fruit is sourced from his Adelaide Hills vineyard.Opaque crimson mauve colour. Impressive nose with aroma of earth, spice, vanilla, cedar, blackpepper and plum aromas. The palate displays excellent weight and structure with flavours of ripe plums and blackcurrant followed by a long blackpepper aftertaste. Fine grained velvet smooth tannins in perfect balance to the fruit – very impressive structure with earth, truffle aftertaste. Cellar 5-8 years.
