1998 De Bortoli Noble One Botrytis Semillon (375ml)

A more luscious and viscous Noble One, back to the classic style, after a slightly lighter 1997. Brilliant, brassy gold colour. On the nose strong botrytis aromas with apricot, honey and spice dominant. The palate is luscious and has the weight and mouthfeel that one has come to expect from Noble One. Strong palate flavours of honey, citrus and apricot, followed by a hint of toffee at the end. Well the end is not the very end, it is just a pause, prior to the emergence of flavours of very ripe oranges, marmalade and honey, creating a complex middle palate. Clean crisp acidity, followed by long honey, apricot and citrus aftertaste. Cellar 4-5 years. 375ML.BOTTLE.
