1998 Ballingal Estate Limited Release Semillon

Semillon is widely grown in Griffith and is the source of much of Australia's superb botrytis Semillon wines. The Ballingal Estate Semillon is however, a dry wine which has already been awarded 3 gold and 3 Bronze medals. Bright, brassy gold colour with a hint of green. Aromas of ripe fruit - tropical fruit to the fore front with just a hint of vanillin oak. Full bodied, generous palate flavours of vanillin spice, tropical fruit and cinnamon. A very good example of fully ripened Semillon. Cellar 2-3 years.
