1998 Arrowfield Shiraz

A very admirable work horse with a short, stumpy palate and plenty of body weight. Deep brick red colour with mauve edges. Aromas of ripe plum, stewed fruit and spice with some liquorice overtones. The palate is short and stumpy, a concentrated burst of ripe plum and spice flavours are followed by dry and quite firm tannins followed by a spicy ripe plum aftertaste. Cellar 3-5 years.
