1997 Stanton & Killeen Cabernet Shiraz

Medium bodied, a surprise for Rutherglen. Crimson ruby colour. On the nose there are aromas of leather, cedar, plum and vanilla followed by a hint of confectionary. Generous ripe fruit palate flavours with plum, vanilla and spice dominant. Good length, fine grained tannins, followed by an aftertaste of confectionary, plum and spice with a slightly earthy end. Cellar 5-8 years.
