1997 Renato Ratti Dolcetto d'Alba

Medium body, crimson colour with mauve edge. Excellent nose with an almost perfumed aroma of raspberry, mixed berry, spice and violets. The palate is on the firm side – austere with firmish dry tannin which persist into the aftertaste. Subtle palate flavour of raspberry, leather, truffle, spice and a touch of strawberry on the end palate. Cellar 2-3 years.
