Medium body, crimson colour. An impressive wine. Aromas of spice, liquorice, tar, stewed fruit, confectionery, plum and floral end notes. The palate displays complexity and excellent length - flavours of raspberry, liquorice, spice, confectionery and poppy dominate. Excellent balance, soft tannins, the acid is a touch soft but satisfactory for the next 2-3 years. Long aftertaste of liquorice, blackberry and spice.
