1997 Orlando Lawson's Padthaway Shiraz

A highly decorated wine. Bright opaque crimson black colour, with deep crimson hue. The nose displays notes of cherry, truffle, ripe blackberry and liquorice. On the palate, flavours of vanilla, spice, and liquorice, with back palate flavours of stewed fruit and blackpepper emerging. Fine grained, dry tannins, followed by a long aftertaste of spice, blackpepper, liquorice, cherry and dark chocolate.
