1997 Lindemans St. George Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Almost opaque colour with deep crimson and mauve edges. Aroma of cedar, violets, blackcurrant, spice and a confectionery end note. A superb sniff. The palate structure is tightly knit and built to last. Fine grained firmish tannins are counter pointed by strong flavour of spice, blackcurrant and chocolate. Excellent balance, with long aftertaste of plum and stoned fruit with the dry tannins lingering on. Cellar 8-10 years.
