1997 Hidden Spirits Linkwood 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Drawn from an x-bourbon cask that yielded just 192 bottles. This is from the classic range of Hidden Spirits where most releases are reduced to 48% abv at the choice of Director, Andrea Ferrari. The labels are produced by a local artist in Ferrara depicting the walk that Andrea takes on his way to the distillery. He snaps a photo which is then interpreted by the artist. This is a Linkwood of considerable age offering plenty of fruit - great for Spring-Summer drinking!

Tasting note: [20ml sample]. Ideal clarity. Quintessential distillery nose, bursting with pear drops, white peach and a medley of ripe orchard fruit notes along side vanilla and dusty cocoa. This is ultra pure, sleek and highly polished, following through with wine soaked pears, cloves and a succulent, lipsmacking nectarine-like finish.
