Region: The central Adriatic region of Abruzzo
Characteristics: Deep ruby red in colour with brilliant highlights. The nose releases broad notes of sour cherries and cherries stewed in alcohol. The palate has good body noticeable tannins and fairly dense fruit.
Serve: Room temperature about 18-20 degrees and open at least a couple hours prior to consumption.
Try With: Red meat, grills and roasts. Semi-matured Cheeses.
