1996 Seppelt Drumborg Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Very deep brick red colour. The nose is appealing with aroma of cedar, cigar box, spice and blackcurrant, followed by a leafy end note - very strongly influenced by Bordeaux. The palate has refined structure, with its Bordeaux like flavours being mouthfilling. Good complexity with blackcurrant, cedar and spice dominant and just a hint of leaf. Fine grained tannins, dry but in perfect balance to the fruit. Long aftertaste of cigar box, cedar, blackcurrant and spice with again that hint of leafiness remaining till the very end. Cellar 4-5 years.
