1996 Moss Brothers Cabernet Merlot

A superb example of Margaret River Cabernet. Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. Deep crimson mauve colour. The nose displays great complexity with aromas of mulberry, blackberry, blackcurrant, spice, liquorice and earthy leather end notes. The palate is a delight - with flavours of blackcurrants, earthy raspberries, plum and spice. Excellent depth and persistence of flavour with perfect balance and long aftertaste of truffle, mulberry and a hint of tea leaf. Cellar 3 - 5 years.
