1996 Leconfield Shiraz

The 1996 Leconfield Shiraz follows the exceptional 1995 vintage which accumulated a host of trophies and is being sold off the back of that success, just in case the 1996 doesn't take the judges eye.Deep crimson colour with ruby edges. The nose is very attractive with spicy plum aromas dominant over an earthy blackberry background. The palate flavours reflect the nose displaying concentrated plum fruit with blackpepper and earthy spice flavours in the background. Excellent balance, velvet smooth tannins, with long blackberry plum and earthy spice aftertaste. An Outstanding Wine. Cellar 3-5 years.
