1996 Leasingham Bin 61 Shiraz

A monumental shiraz reflecting the strong vintage conditions. Opaque crimson purple colour. The nose displays rich ripe fruit aromas. Plum, blackberry, vanilla and spice aromas fill the nose and signal a monumental palate, reminiscent of the Sevenhill Shiraz from the same year. Excellent weight with concentrated plum, spice, liquorice and vanilla palate flavours. Fine firm tannins with long liquorice, vanilla, plum aftertaste. Cellar 8-10 years.
