Ron Laughton, continues to produce exceptional, refined Shiraz, and in parallel manages to also increase his prices every year.Opaque crimson purple colour. The aromas reflect a refined approach to wine making with ripe plum, spice, chocolate, ripe blackberries and blackpepper in the background. The palate displays excellent weight and concentration with its major emphasis being on the back palate. The flavour range starts with ripe blackberries, moves gradually into a licquorice band and reaches a crescendo of blackpepper which dominates the entire mouth and aftertaste. Perfect balance. Cellar 5 - 10 years.
