A totally mouthfilling wine and one of the Country's most consistent performers which still retains a modest price tag. The Best's Great Western Bin 0 Shiraz is produced from vines up to 30 years old and is matured in American Oak pungeons. Opaque crimson colour. Superb nose of ripe crushed blackberry, plums, confectionary, spice and vanilla. Sniffing pleasure. The palate is intense and displays great concentration. Flavours of spiced plums, stewed fruits and liquorice all sorts fill the mouth and are enhanced by a peppery back palate. Excellent length and concentration. Perfect balance, fine grained tannins and long confectionary, liquorice all sorts aftertaste. A great example of Australian Shiraz. Cellar 10-20 years.
