The E&E range of wines emanate from 60 year old vines in the north-east region of the Barossa. While producing only a megre yield each year, 1-2 tonnes an acre, these specially selected grapes provide a full concentration of flavour. A small parcel of E&E Shiraz is set aside for secondary fermentation and maturation on yeast lees. This Sparkling Shiraz is then disgorged by Methode Champenoise technique producing an uniquely Australian wine of great finesse.Tasting Notes: Intense, almost ink-like black/red in colour. Complex aroma, bold red plum, black cherry and chocolate characters with overtones of charry oak. Soft, opulent mouth filling flavours of plum, cherry and mulberry fruit create an alluring wine of great depth and intensity. 14.25% alcohol volume.
