1995 Reynell Basket Pressed Shiraz

A superb, full bodied red with great depth of flavour. Matured in American oak for 18 months. Opaque crimson colour with brick red edges. The nose is a real delight with its complex set of aromas - uplifted notes of vanilla, spice, confectionary, ripe sweet plums and stewed fruit with hint of raspberry on the finish. The palate is very generous, filled with the flavour of ripe plum, stewed fruit and confectionary and a distinct vanilla oak background. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance and very long plum vanilla aftertaste. Cellar 5-8 years.
