1994 Peter Lehmann Stonewell Shiraz

Classic Barossa Opulence. The sample tasted is a pre release of the wine. Totally opaque brick red colour with some crimson edges. On the nose the aromas reflect very ripe fruit and that impression is carried right through the wine. Aromas of very ripe blood plums, spicy vanilla oak, cocoa and liquorice. The voluptuous Barossa flavours engulf the palate, generously filling every corner, a range of flavours varying from strawberry and blackberry concentrate, right through to ripe plums, vanilla and liquorice. Fine grained firmish tannins, well balanced, with long liquorice plum, vanilla spice aftertaste. Cellar 3-5 years.
