1994 Penley Estate Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque brick red colour. The nose displays layers of aromas, and shows the complexity that has become a hallmark of Penley. The layers evolve one by one - chocolate, spice and confectionary aromas are to the forefront - followed by toasty oak and ripe plums. The palate displays concentrated fruit flavour - excellent depth and length, with perfect oak integration. Flavours of ripe plum, chocolate and blackcurrant with a hint of liquorice. Perfect balance, fine tannin structure, with warm alcohol finish ( the wine is a generous 14% Alcohol Volume).
