A superb 1994 Clare Shiraz - and a trifecta for Clare Valley.The 1994 vintage produced wonderful reds and almost universallyoutstanding. Opaque deep crimson mauve colour. The nose is quitepronounced with peppery spice and blackberry aromas. The palatedisplays excellent weight and concentration of flavour. Strongpeppery liquorice flavours, with some cedar oak overtones. Firmtannins, but certainly in balance to the fruit and long pepperyliquorice spice aftertaste. An outstanding red.
