The least successful of the three Cabernets, due to the presence of some vegetal characteristics.Very deep brick red colour, showing bottle age. The nose is impressive and displays aroma of almond and marzipan, followed by a blackcurrant and confectionery end note with a hint of stalkiness emerging. On the palate flavours of stewed fruit, cedar and blackcurrants. The acidity seems a touch high and the vegetal characteristics make a return. Aftertaste of leather, earth and stewed fruits.
