1994 was the bushfire vintage. Bright crimson brick red colour, showing some bottle age. Medium body. The nose displays aroma of earth, spice, truffle and plum. On the palate, strong ‘Hunter’ flavours are present with animal like qualities. Flavours of earth, truffle, dark chocolate and spice. Fine grained tannins. Earth, leather aftertaste. The wine is emerging as a traditional Hunter style.
