1993 Seppelt Great Western Show Sparkling Shiraz

The grapes for this outstanding wine were from in the St Peter’s Vineyard in front of the Great Western winery. Deep brick red mauve mousse. Very fine bead with moderate persistence. The nose is restrained with nuances of plum, old leather, prune and spice. Perfectly balanced palate, with flavours of prune, ripe plum, hints of raisins and old leather. Velvet smooth, with fine tannins emerging. Creamy texture with very long aftertaste of ripe plum, prune and leather.
