1993 Henschke Hill of Grace

Opaque brick red colour. The nose is a little disappointing, reflecting some unripe aromas. Some vegetative aromas followed by hints of tea leaf the aromas of a cooler year. The palate rescues the defects of the nose producing ripe plum, blackberry, liquorice and spice flavours. Good length, fine grained, firmish tannins followed by a hint of greenness on the finish. Long lingering dry tannins aftertaste. Cellar 3-5 years.
